Sirdalud 2 mg (Tizanidine)

Sirdalud 2 mg tablet is used to treat rigidity of muscles (spasticity) associated with various brain and nerve disorders (like cerebral palsy, meningitis, multiple sclerosis, motor neuron disease, cerebrovascular accidents), diseases of the spinal cord, other injuries which affect the brain and other parts of nervous system in adults.

Sirdalud 2 mg tablet belongs to group of medicines called centrally acting muscle relaxants. It acts by blocking the nerve impulses which excites the muscles reducing their tone. As a result, the muscle relaxes and there is reduction of pain and spasms.
