Mequinol (Tretinoin cream) belongs to class of medications called as melanin synthesis inhibitors. It bleaches the skin by reducing the accumulation of skin pigment called melanin that causes darkening of skin.

Tretinoin cream (Mequinol) is a form of vitamin A and belongs to a group of medications called as retinoids. It helps the skin to renew itself (causing peeling) and prevents skin inflammation.

Uses Of Melalong Cream (Mequinol / Tretinoin)

Tretinoin cream is topically used to treat acne (pimples), rough texture of facial skin, reduce the appearance of fine wrinkles and mottled skin discoloration. Melalong is prescribed for patients suffering from dark patches that are a result of various skin problems. This drug bleaches the skin to lighten it by reducing the skin pigment called melanin so that the dark patches also go away. Retino A Micro 0.1% Gel is available in Gel form.
