PERMED is used,

nFor the treatment of lice present on the scalp, pubic area and other parts of the skin
nTo treat a highly contagious infection caused by mites marked by intense itching in the affected area

Talk to your doctor before using this medicine, if you:

nHave a known history of allergy to permethrin (pyrethrins) or any other ingredient present with it

PREGNANCY & BREAST FEEDING

PERMED is safe for use by pregnant women. It is advised to consult your doctor before using this medicine
nIt should be used by women who are breastfeeding only when necessary. It is advised to discontinue breastfeeding when it is applied onto the body. Consult your doctor before using this medicine

Talk to doctor if you are taking any other topical medicine for skin condition

DIRECTIONS & FOR USE:

n

Apply PERMED to the hair or skin, depending on the location of infection
nAvoid its contact with eyes. The same treatment can be repeated after seven days if required
nIt may take some time before the full benefit of this drug takes effect

n

If you use more PERMED

nApplying too much of it may cause skin reactions where it was applied. In certain situation contact your doctor immediately

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

n• Itching or rash of the skin and scalp
n• Tingling and numbness of skin
n

UNCOMMON

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

n• Redness of skin or scalp
n• Burning or stinging sensation
n

RARE

n

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

n• Difficulty in breathing
n

VERY RARE

n

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

n• Infected and pus-filled areas on the skin and scalp
n
