CRESTOR 5MG contain rosuvastatin which belongs to a group of medicine called statins. It is used to treat high cholesterol level and helps to prevent heart attack and stroke. Cholesterol is a fatty substance normally found in bloodstream. When it gets builds up in your blood vessels it may lead to narrowing of blood vessel resulting in heart attack or stroke.

nHeart attack occur when an artery supplying your heart with blood and oxygen become blocked. Stroke occur when the blood supply to part of your brain is interrupted and prevent brain tissue from getting oxygen and nutrient. Low cholesterol levels can reduce the risk of having a heart attack, a stroke or related health problems. CRESTOR 5MG treat high cholesterol level and helps to prevent heart attack and stroke.

nAlways take CRESTOR 5MG exactly as your doctor has told you. This medicine must be taken with or without food. It should be swallowed whole with water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. This medicine is not recommended for use in children and adolescents below 18 years of age. Before taking this medicine talk to your doctor if you have any kidney, liver, heart problems. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before taking this medicine. Diabetic patients should monitor their blood sugar level while taking this medicine.
