PERLICE RINSE 1% is used in the treatment of head lice.

Talk to your doctor before using this medicine, if you:

nAre allergic to Permethrin, other pyrethrins or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
nHave asthma
nAre suffering from eczema

PREGNANCY & BREAST FEEDING

n

If you are pregnant or breast feeding, consult your doctor before using PERLICE RINSE 1% during pregnancy or while breast feeding

CHILDREN & ADOLESCENTS

n

Do not use PERLICE RINSE 1% in newborns and infants less than 2 months of age, unless your doctor tells you so

INTERACTIONS:

n

Tell your doctor before taking PERLICE RINSE 1%, if you are taking:

nTopical corticosteroids (steroids)
n

DIRECTIONS & FOR USE:

n

Apply PERLICE RINSE 1% on washed, towel dried hair from root to tip of the hair
nWait for 10 mins and wash off with water
nAvoid contact with eyes
nNever use on eyelashes or eyebrows
nUse a fine toothed comb to remove nits (eggs) and dead lice
nRe-apply Perlice after 7 days
nFor external use only
nIf you use too much PERLICE RINSE 1%

nIf too much is applied, it should be washed off with soap and warm water. If there are any signs of irritation, talk to your doctorc.

SIDE EFFECTS OF PERLICE RINSE 1%:

SERIOUS

• Severe hypersensitivity reactions

COMMON

• Itching (pruritus)
n• Reddening of the skin or unusual sensations on the skin (paraesthesias) such as tingling, pricking, skin burning sensation as well as dry skin

n

VERY RARE

n

• Skin lesions (excoriations)
n• Inflammation of the hair follicles (folliculitis) and reduced skin pigmentation

n
n
