HOW MUCH TO TAKE THE DRUG?

Initially a dose of 25 mg two to three times a day may be given for a certain period of time depending on your condition. If the situation worsens then the dose may be increased gradually. The maximum dose that can be taken on any particular day is 200mg. Your doctor will decide on the dose that you need to follow after understanding the severity of your condition.

HOW TO TAKE THE DRUG?

The drug is to be taken with or after food with the help of water. It is also advisable to take antacids along with the medicine so as to avoid any indigestion and also to reduce any side effects on intestines and stomach.

FOR HOW LONG TO TAKE IT?

The duration for which the medicine needs to be taken depends on your condition. Some time it may take up to 4 weeks to show its full benefits for example in the case of arthritis. If the medicine is taken on a need basis it is advisable to take it at the first sign of pain and not wait to take the medicine till the pain worsens as the medication may not work very well then.

In case of overdose you must contact emergency medical care immediately. Some of the symptoms of overdose include headache, bleeding in the stomach or intestines, feeling or being sick, stomach pain, diarrhoea, excitement, disorientation, drowsiness, coma, ringing or buzzing in the ears, dizziness, fits or seizures, fainting, kidney or liver failure.
