NEXTRIL contains Tofisopam which belongs to an anti-anxiety group of medications known as homophthalazines

WHAT NEXTRIL IS USED FOR?

It is used as an adjuvant therapy

nTo control psychosomatic symptoms such as headache, fatigue, tachycardia, sweating
nFor paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia
nTo improve intestinal passage in patients with irritable colon syndrome
nFor hyper motor dysfunction of the biliary ducts
nFor reduction of preoperative anxiety

Talk to your doctor before taking this medicine, if you:

nAre allergic to Tofisopam or any of the other ingredients of this medicine

PREGNANCY & BREAST FEEDING

Risk of malformation with first trimester exposure to NEXTRIL is minimal to low
nIf you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine

INTERACTIONS:

Tell your doctor if you are taking:

nBarbiturates and ethanol
nImmunosuppressive agents
n

DIRECTIONS & FOR USE:

n

Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
nThis medicine can be swallowed with a whole glass of water
nDo not crush or chew the tablet

n

The average daily dose is 1 to 2 tablets one to three times daily (50 to 300 mg per day). In case of occasional administration 1 to 2 tablets should be used

If you take more NEXTRIL

nIf you take more NEXTRIL or if someone else has taken your medicine, talk to your doctor immediately and you may need Medical attention

nIf you forgot to take NEXTRIL
n
nIf you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember, unless it is time for your next dose. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose

nIf you Stop taking NEXTRIL
n
nDo not stop taking NEXTRIL without talking to your doctor
