INTRODUCTION
nNICODUCE OD contains Nicorandil which belongs to a group of medicines known as potassium-channel activators which works by increasing the blood flow through the blood vessels of the heart. It is used to prevent and treat long-term chest pain (angina). Angina is a type of chest pain often described as squeezing, pressure, heaviness, tightness or pain in your chest due to reduced blood flow to the heart. NICODUCE OD used to treat angina and also reduces acute coronary events in high risk stable angina patients.

nBefore taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have low blood pressure or heart problems. Do not take any medicines for erectile dysfunction. It is not recommended for use in children and breastfeeding women. Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor. The dose you take will depend on your age, other medications you are taking and whether you have any kidney or liver problems. The common side effects are headache, dizziness, weakness and irregular heartbeat.
