ANGIWELL contains Glyceryl Trinitrate which belongs to a group of medicines known as nitrates
nIt relaxes blood vessels, increasing the blood and oxygen supply to the heart

WHAT ANGIWELL IS USED FOR?

It is used,
nTo prevent chest pain caused by angina. It will not help to stop an episode of chest pain
n

Talk to your doctor before taking this medicine, if you:
nAre allergic (hypersensitive) to glyceryl trinitrate
nHave previous history of heart attack or heart failure
nHave low blood pressure (hypotension)
nSuffer from severe liver problems
nAre an alcoholic

PREGNANCY & BREAST FEEDING

If you are pregnant, think you may be pregnant, planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine

CHILDREN & ADOLESCENTS

Talk to your pediatrician regarding the use of this medicine in Children

DRIVING & USING MACHINES
n
You may get drowsy or dizzy. Do not drive, use machinery, or do anything that needs mental alertness until you know how this medicine affects you

INTERACTIONS:

Tell your doctor if you are taking, have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription. Especially
nCertain migraine medicines like ergotamine and dihydroergotamine
nMedicines used to treat erectile dysfunction like sildenafil, tadalafil and vardenafil
nMedicines for high blood pressure
nOther medicines used to treat angina

DIRECTIONS & FOR USE:

Always take ANGIWELL exactly as your doctor has told you
nTake this medicine by mouth with a glass of water
nFollow the directions on the prescription label
nSwallow whole. Do not crush or chew
nTake your doses at regular intervals
n
If you take more ANGIWELL
nIf you take too many ANGIWELL, contact your doctor or go to your nearest hospital casualty department immediately
n
nIf you forget to take ANGIWELL
n
nIf you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it. However, if it is nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose. Never take two doses at the same time (morning or evening)
n
nIf you stop taking ANGIWELL
n
nDo not stop taking this medicine suddenly or your symptoms may get worse
n
nIf your doctor wants you to stop the medicine, the dose will be slowly lowered over time to avoid any side effects
n
STORAGE:

Keep this medicine out of reach of children
nStore at room temperature (15-25°C)
nDo not use this medicine after the expiry date
