INTRODUCTION:

Ferronomic Tablet is intended to provide a solution for the Iron deficiency and Iron deficiency anemia in pregnant women by increasing the systemic Iron level and haemoglobin level with its unique mechanism of action. Lactoferrin is a non-haem iron binding protein that is a part of the transferrin protein family and differs from transferrin by its higher affinity for iron which is 300 times greater and its ability to retain iron at a pH lower than 4 such as exist in the gastrointestinal tract or inflammatory lesions.

nFerronomic Tablet is works by decreasing hepcidin levels by regulating the ferroportin hepcidin axis. It also increases iron efflux in the systemic circulation, reduce ferritin bind iron stores, reduce inflammatory pathways further affecting hepcidin.

nLactoferrin is used for the treatment of stomach and intestinal ulcers, diarrhoea, and hepatitis C. It is also used as an antioxidant and to protect against bacterial and viral infections. It may also stimulate the cells responsible for bone growth and helps to improve the absorption of iron from the diet for people with iron deficiency.
