WHAT LACNE IS USED FOR?

It is used to treat acne vulgaris in people 12 years of age and older. Acne vulgaris is a condition in which the skin has blackheads, white heads and pimples
nIt is used to treat mild to moderate acne(spots)

INTERACTIONS:

n

Tell your healthcare provider about all the medicines you take, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements especially if you are using:

nTopical medicines that contain sulfur, resorcinol or salicylic acid, alpha hydroxy or glycolic acid
nUsing or any other topical preparation such as erythromycin metronidazole or aminoglycosides

DIRECTIONS & FOR USE:

Always apply this gel exactly as your doctor has told you
nYou should use LACNE once a day. Wash as normal, rinse well and pat your skin dry
nApply a small amount of gel in a thin layer to the whole of the area where you usually get the spots
nIt should be used for a maximum of 12 weeks
nYou may need to use more than one tube of LACNE during each course of treatment
nTry not to pick or squeeze spots as this can make your acne worse and even lead to scarring
nDo not use LACNE in or on your mouth, eyes or vagina
nIt can make your skin sensitive to sun and the light from tanning beds and sunlamps

If you use more LACNE

nIf you apply too much LACNE just wash your treated skin with plenty of water. There may be a chance of increase in skin irritation, contact your doctor or your local hospital

nIf you forget to use LACNE
n
nUse it as soon as you remember and then continue to use as your doctor has told you. Do not apply a double dose to make up for a forgotten application

nIf you stop using LACNE

nIf you stop applying too soon your infection may come back again or get worse
nDo not stop taking LACNE unless your doctor tells you to do so

nDo not use this medicine after the expiry date
