EXAZEL 20% has no influence on the ability to drive and use machines

INTERACTIONS:

n

Tell your doctor if you are taking any other skin preparation or especially if you are using

nBenzoic acid or Propylene glycol
n

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

n

Always apply EXAZEL 20% cream exactly as your doctor has told you
nFor Adults and Adolescents (12 ? 18 years of age)

nFirst thoroughly wash with plain water the whole area to be treated and dry it with some cotton cloth
nStart treatment with EXAZEL 20% twice a day
nIf your skin is very sensitive use EXAZEL 20% once a day, in the evening during
nthe first week of treatment. Then change to twice a day
n
nIf you have acne on your chest and back, as well as your face, adjust the amount of cream and use it accordingly
nWash your hands thoroughly after using EXAZEL 20%
n
nIf you use more EXAZEL 20%
n
nIf you use too much of EXAZEL 20% cream or if someone else has applied your medicine, talk to your doctor immediately and you may need Medical attention
n
nIf you forget to use EXAZEL 20%
n
nIf you have forgotten to use your EXAZEL 20% cream take them as soon as possible on the same day. Do not take a double dose
n
nIf you stop using EXAZEL 20%
n
nDo not stop using EXAZEL 20% cream without talking to your doctor first
n

SIDE EFFECTS OF EXAZEL 20%:

Like all medicine, this medicine can cause side effects although not everybody gets them.

SIDE EFFECTS OF EXAZEL 20%:

SERIOUS

n

• Allergic reaction (e.g. rash)
n• Irritations (for example burning and itching – pruritis)
n• Pain at the application site

n
n

COMMON

n

• Abnormal redness of the skin (erythema) at the site of application
n• Feeling of tingling or numbness (paranesthesia)
n• Dry skin at the application site reaction due to an external agent (contact dermatitis), abnormal redness of the skin (erythema); scaling, warmth, skin discoloration at the application site
n• Swelling (oedema), scaling, pain

UNCOMMON

n

• Greasy skin, acne or loss of skin colour, tingling, dermatitis, nettle rash (urticaria)

n
n

RARE

n

• Cracking of the lips, vesicles (small blisters), eczema, ulceration, warmth at the site of application

n
n

nDo not use this medicine after the expiry date
nDo not use if you notice some visible signs of medicine deterioration
