WHAT CLINXA A GEL IS USED FOR?

n

It is used to treat acne vulgaris in people 12 years of age and older. Acne vulgaris is a condition in which the skin has blackheads, white heads and pimples
nIt is used to treat mild to moderate acne(spots)
nTalk to your doctor before applying CLINXA A GEL, if you:

nAre allergic to CLINXA A GEL or any of the ingredients of this medicine
nHave other skin problems, including cuts or sunburn
nHave any other skin conditions

INTERACTIONS:

Tell your healthcare provider about all the medicines you take, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements especially if you are using:

nTopical medicines that contain sulfur, resorcinol or salicylic acid, alpha hydroxy or glycolic acid
nUsing or any other topical preparation such as erythromycin metronidazole or aminoglycosides

DIRECTIONS & FOR USE:

Always apply this gel exactly as your doctor has told you
nYou should use CLINXA A GEL once a day. Wash as normal, rinse well and pat your skin dry
nApply a small amount of gel in a thin layer to the whole of the area where you usually get the spots
nIt should be used for a maximum of 12 weeks
nYou may need to use more than one tube of CLINXA A GEL during each course of treatment
nTry not to pick or squeeze spots as this can make your acne worse and even lead to scarring
nDo not use CLINXA A GEL in or on your mouth, eyes or vagina
nIt can make your skin sensitive to sun and the light from tanning beds and sunlamps

If you use more CLINXA A GEL

nIf you apply too much CLINXA A GEL just wash your treated skin with plenty of water. There may be a chance of increase in skin irritation, contact your doctor or your local hospital

nIf you forget to use CLINXA A GEL
n
nUse it as soon as you remember and then continue to use as your doctor has told you. Do not apply a double dose to make up for a forgotten application

nIf you stop using CLINXA A GEL
n
nIf you stop applying too soon your infection may come back again or get worse
nDo not stop taking CLINXA A GEL unless your doctor tells you to do so

nStore at room temperature (15-25°C)
nDo not use this medicine after the expiry date
