nAre allergic to benzoyl peroxide or any of the other ingredients of this medicine

Tell your doctor, if you are using,

nOther acne medicines containing tretinoin, isotretinoin or tazarotene
n
nSulphonamide-containing products such as dapsone and sulfacetamide

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or planning to have baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you

nWash the affected area with a mild skin cleanser and water, and gently pat your skin dry
n
nApply the medicine in a thin layer once or twice a day to all the affected areas
n
nIf you have sensitive skin apply the medicine once daily before going to bed
n
nYou should try to avoid exposure to strong sunlight while using BREVOXYL CREAMY WASH
n
nIf exposure is unavoidable, use a suitable sunscreen lotion and apply BREVOXYL CREAMY WASH in the evening
n
nRemember to wash the affected area before use
n
nIf you use more BREVOXYL CREAMY WASH
n
nIf you have taken more BREVOXYL CREAMY WASH than you should, talk to your doctor immediately
n
nIf you forget to use BREVOXYL CREAMY WASH
n
nIf you forget to use your medicine at the right time
n
nWhen you remember, start using the product again, in the same way as before
n
nIf you stop taking BREVOXYL CREAMY WASH
n
nDo not stop taking the BREVOXYL CREAMY WASH until the doctor has told you to do so

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them

SERIOUS

• Raised and itchy rash (hives)
n• Swelling of the face, eyes, lips, tongue or mouth (angioedema), having difficulty in breathing
n•Fainting
n• Severe redness, itching or peeling of the skin occurs, or you experience face swelling

COMMON

n

• Itching of the skin (pruritus)
n• Pain of the skin (pain, stinging)
n• Skin irritation (irritant contact dermatitis)

n
n

UNCOMMON

n

• Dry skin
n• Skin redness
n• Peeling of the skin
n•Burning sensation of the skin
n• Allergic contact dermatitis
