Talk to your doctor before taking BENZAC, If you

nAre allergic to benzoyl peroxide or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
n

INTERACTIONS:

Tell your doctor, if you are using,

nOther acne medicines containing tretinoin, isotretinoin or tazarotene
nSulphonamide-containing products such as dapsone and sulfacetamide
n

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

n

Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
nWash the affected area with a mild skin cleanser and water, and gently pat your skin dry
nApply the medicine in a thin layer once or twice a day to all the affected areas
nIf you have sensitive skin apply the medicine once daily before going to bed
nYou should try to avoid exposure to strong sunlight while using BENZAC
nIf exposure is unavoidable, use a suitable sunscreen lotion and apply BENZAC in the evening
nRemember to wash the affected area before use

If you use more BENZAC

nIf you have taken more BENZAC than you should, talk to your doctor immediately
n
nIf you forget to use BENZAC
n
nIf you forget to use your medicine at the right time
nWhen you remember, start using the product again, in the same way as before
n
nIf you stop taking BENZAC
n
nDo not stop taking the BENZAC until the doctor has told you to do so
n

SIDE EFFECTS OF BENZAC:

SERIOUS

n

•Raised and itchy rash (hives)
n• Swelling of the face, eyes, lips, tongue or mouth (angioedema), having difficulty in breathing
n• Fainting
n• Severe redness, itching or peeling of the skin occurs, or you experience face swelling

COMMON

n

• Itching of the skin (pruritus)
n• Pain of the skin (pain, stinging)
n• Skin irritation (irritant contact dermatitis)

n
n

UNCOMMON

n

• Dry skin
n• Skin redness
n• Peeling of the skin
n• Burning sensation of the skin
n• Allergic contact dermatitis
