ADAPERO is used to treat Acne vulgaris in which the skin has blackheads, whiteheads and pimples

WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS:

Talk to your doctor before using this medicine, if you:

nAre allergic to adapalene, benzoyl peroxide or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
nHave cuts or scrapes or on sunburnt skin or if you have a skin condition called eczema
nHave high levels of sun exposure and those with inherent sensitivity to sun

PREGNANCY & BREAST FEEDING

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before using this medicine

CHILDREN & ADOLESCENTS

ADAPERO is not recommended for use in children or adolescents below 9 years of age

DRIVING & USING MACHINES

ADAPERO does not have any effect on driving and using machines

INTERACTIONS:

n

Tell your doctor before taking this medicine, If you:

nAre undergoing any other acne treatment
nAre using topical medicines that contain sulfur, resorcinol or salicylic acid
n

DIRECTIONS & FOR USE:

n

Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
nDo not use ADAPERO gel in or on your mouth, eyes, or vagina
nApply ADAPERO gel once a day on your face
nWash the area where the gel will be applied with a mild cleanser and pat dry
nSqueeze a small amount (about the size of a pea) of ADAPERO gel onto your fingertips and spread a thin layer over the affected area

If you use more ADAPERO

nUsing too much ADAPERO gel or using it more than once a day may increase your chance of skin irritation
nIn the rare event that you accidentally swallow any of this medicine, seek medical advice

nIf you forget to use ADAPERO
n
nApply using this medicine as soon as you remember
nDo not apply more than once a day
n
nIf you Stop taking ADAPERO
n
nDo not stop using this medicine unless told by your doctor

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

n• Local skin reactions such as redness, dryness, swelling, scaling, stinging or burning
