Talk to your doctor before using this medicine, if you:

nAre hypersensitive (allergic) to clindamycin, lincomycin or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine

INTERACTIONS:

Tell your healthcare provider about all the medicines you take, including:

nAny other skin products that contain benzoyl peroxide
n

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

n

ACNESOL 1% should be applied twice a day
nShake the bottle well before use
nWash and apply thin film on the affected area
nThe ACNESOL 1% bottle has an automatic pad dispenser. Gently apply a thin film onto your skin using the pad on the applicator
nThe ACNESOL 1% bottle has a dispensing cap
nWash your hands before and after use and dry them, apply a thin film of the medicine by gently rubbing it into your skin, you may use a cotton pad for this or you can use your fingers
nAlways replace the cap after use

If you take more ACNESOL 1%

nIf you take too much ACNESOL 1% at one time, just wash your treated skin with plenty of water and contact your doctor

nIf you forget to take ACNESOL 1%
n
nUse it as soon as you remember and then continue to use as your doctor has told you. Do not apply a double dose to make up for a forgotten application
n
nIf you stop taking ACNESOL 1%
n
nIf you stop applying too soon your infection may come back again or get worse
nDo not stop taking ACNESOL 1% unless your doctor tells you to
n

Like all medicines, the medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

• Burning sensation
n• Irritation

• Oily skin

RARE

• Severe acne or inflammation of the skin caused by contact with irritants or allergens

VERY RARE

n

• Skin irritation (may cause symptoms such as burning, itching, peeling), hives, dryness of skin

n
n

nKeep out of reach of children
nStore at room temperature (15-25°C)
nDo not use this medicine after the expiry date
