It is used to treat,

nAcne vulgaris
nSkin disorder (dermatitis herpetiformis)

Talk to your doctor before using this medicine, if you:

nAre allergic to Dapsone or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
nHave glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency (G6PD)
nHave methemoglobinemia
n

INTERACTIONS:

n

Tell your doctor about all the medicines you are taking:

nBenzoyl peroxide (used to treat acne) or any other skin preparations
n

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

n

Always apply this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
nApply gel twice a day
nGently wash and pat dry the areas of your skin where you will apply gel
nApply a pea-sized amount of gel in a thin layer to the areas of your skin that have acne
nRub gel in gently and completely
nIt may feel gritty and you may see particles in the gel
nMake sure to put the cap back on the gel tube. Close it tightly
nWash your hands after applying gel
nIf your acne does not get better after using Gel for 12 weeks, talk to your doctor about continuing treatment

If you apply more ACNEDAP GEL

nIf you (or someone else) accidentally swallow this medicine you should tell your doctor at once or contact the nearest casualty department

nIf you forgot to apply ACNEDAP GEL
n
nDo not apply double dose to make up for a forgotten dose. If you forget to apply gel apply it as soon as you remember it and then apply the next dose at the right time

nIf you stop applying ACNEDAP GEL
n
nDo not stop applying this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so
n

SIDE EFFECTS OF ACNEDAP GEL:

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects although not everybody gets them.

• Peeling, dryness and redness of the skin

nKeep this medicine out of reach of children
