It is used to treat symptoms associated with allergic conditions, such as:

nHay fever
nYear-round allergiessuch as dust or pet allergies
nChronic nettle rash

Talk to your doctor before taking 1 AL, if you:

nAre allergic to levocetirizine, any other related substance, or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine
nHave epilepsy(fits)
nHave kidney problem
nConsume alcohol

PREGNANCY & BREAST FEEDING

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding you should contact your doctor before using this medicine

CHILDREN & ADOLESCENTS

This medicine should not be used in children under 6 years of age

DRIVING & USING MACHINES

This medicine may cause drowsiness, tiredness and exhaustion
nIf you experience any of these symptoms, then do not drive or operate any machines

INTERACTIONS:

Tell your doctor if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription

DIRECTIONS & FOR USE:

Always take 1 AL exactly as your doctor has told you
nYou should swallow the medicine whole with water
nThe usual dose for is one medicine daily
nThe duration of treatment depends on the type, duration and course of the complaints

n

If you take more 1 AL

nIf you have taken more 1 AL than you should, you may experience the following symptoms: confusion, diarrhea, dizziness, fatigue, headache, feeling unwell, dilation of the pupils, itching, restlessness, drowsiness, sleepiness, fast heartbeat, shaking and difficulty passing urine
nContact your doctor immediately

nIf you forget to take 1 AL
n
nDo not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose
nSkip the missed dose and take the next dose at the usual time
n
nIf you stop taking 1 AL
n
nDo not stop this medicine unless told by your doctor

SIDE EFFECTS OF 1 AL:

COMMON

Like all medicines, 1 AL can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

n• Dizziness
n• Headache
n• Inflammation of the throat
n• Swelling and irritation inside the nose (in children)
n• Abdominal pain
n• Dry mouth
n• Tiredness
n

UNCOMMON

n

Like all medicines, 1 AL can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

n• Sensation of tingling or numbness of the skin
n• Diarrhea
n• Rash
n• Itching
n• Feeling of weakness
n• Agitation
n

RARE

n

Like all medicines, 1 AL can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

n• Fast heart beat
n• Fits
n• Disorders of movement
n• Hives
n• Swelling of the skin
n• Hypersensitivity (allergic reaction)
n• Abnormal liver function
n• Weight increase
n• Aggression
n• Confusion
n• Depression
n• Hallucinations
n• Difficulty in sleeping
n

VERY RARE

n

Like all medicines, 1 AL can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

n• Reduction in blood platelets, which increases risk of bleeding or bruising
n• Changed or diminished taste sensation
n• Fainting
n• Blurry vision
n• Painful urination
n• Bedwetting
n• Serious allergic reaction which causes swelling of the face or throat, difficulty in breathing or dizziness
n• Shaking
n• Muscle disorders
n• Jerky movements
n• Circular eye movements
